Read to Win is a FREE reading program for kids in elementary school that we launched all the way back in March of 2016!
How Read to Win Works
For each chapter or book they read, kids will fill out a line on an entry sheet. They then put the sheet into the Read To Win box in their classroom. Their teacher draws 5 winners each month, and each winner gets a certificate for 2 Free Games of Laser Tag at Laser City.
The more they read, the more entries they get!

Who is Laser City?
Laser City is a locally owned Laser Tag facility with locations in Edmonton and Calgary. We have been a staple business in these communities for many years and we love being able to give back.

What is Read To Win?
Launched in 2016, Read to Win is a FREE reading program for kids in elementary school. For each chapter or book they read (depending on the conditions set), kids will fill out entry sheets that they put into the Read to Win box. Once a month from September to June, you just need to draw 5 sheets from the box and those students will receive a certificate that they can redeem online for 2 free games of Laser Tag! This means the more they read, the more entries they get!
Are the games really free?
Yes - they are 100% free. Just be sure to bring the promo code you were emailed after completing the "Redeem Certificate" form.
Who can play Laser Tag?
Laser Tag is open to anyone who's taller than 40". We also strongly suggest ages 6+. Adults are welcome (and encouraged) to play too!

Can I use the free games towards a party or other event?
The games can't be used for any other event such as a birthday party. Feel free to redeem the games of laser tag during regular business hours - no need to book ahead of time.
Can home school families sign up?
This program is not available for home school families.
My kid won. How do we get our free games of Laser Tag?
On the back of the certificate the teacher gave your child are instructions and a code. Please head over to the "Redeem Certificate" page and fill in the form with the code. Afterwards, you will be sent an email with a promo code that can then be redeemed at any Laser City location for 2 free games of laser tag.
